CanSERV 4th open call to support cancer research – apply for FREE imaging and analysis services!
We are happy to announce that the fourth EU-funded canSERV call is open and is now accepting applications to support cancer research projects. The researchers can apply for FREE SERVICES at several European Research Infrastructures, including Euro-BioImaging ERIC. Deadline for proposal submission is July 15, 2025, 14:00 CEST. Within this canSERV call, our Finnish Advanced Microscopy Node (FiAM) is providing open-access imaging technologies and expert services to both academic and industrial users: Some important highlights: Submission workflow: 1. Euro-BioImaging Finland Kick-off Meeting Marks a Milestone for Finnish Imaging Infrastructure
The kick-off meeting of the renewed Euro-BioImaging Finland was held on 4th April at the University of Helsinki. (Image: Euro-BioImaging Finland) On April 4th, 2025, Euro-BioImaging Finland held its official Kick-off Meeting at Biomedicum, Helsinki, celebrating the newly awarded 28 million euros in national infrastructure funding and the prestigious “Lighthouse” status on the Finnish Research Infrastructure Roadmap 2025–2028. Euro-BioImaging Finland was chosen as one of six Finland’s highest quality infrastructures, so-called lighthouses – forerunners with broad societal impact. With this record funding granted by the Research Council of Finland, Euro-BioImaging Finland will develop new imaging technologies and services, and new methods based on artificial intelligence. BioImage Informactics Finland Network Symposium 2025
4th BioImage Informatics Finland symposium is organized by Turku Bioimaging at Seili island, Turku Archipelago, May 22-23, 2025 . The symposium will bring together students, researchers, and facility personnel working on image analysis or data management to discuss the latest developments and prospects in the bioimage informatics field. The symposium will feature talks from both early-career researchers and leading experts in the field.
